Videos like this are great examples of why I chose to work where I do. Created by an independent director. Not Google official, and no, I did not work on it. But it's great.
The twins crack me up. They just started gymnastics classes, so we get to see them practicing somersaults and headstands all over the house, no matter the surface. Today, I put on some techno from Underworld. At first they started dancing, but then it was somersault central. You can see they enjoy it.
An article in the Science section of today's Washington Examiner earns another in a long line of "It's finally coming!" cheers from old Star Trek and Star Wars lovers as sci-fi fantasy ideas continue to become reality. The usable 3-D imaging discussed here could really have SO many applications beyond just simply fun (not bad, though), that it stirs the thinking into a whirl just to realize that it will be available widely before the newest generations of our families get their driver's licenses. [Wait...will they be Operator's licenses then - hover craft, etc?] See this link for more: "See me, Obi-Wan Kenobi: Scientists report progress toward live, 3-D video a la `Star Wars'
Matthew and Sarah's development hasn't slowed one bit since the arrival of their little brother.
Both are talking up a storm, clearly expressing their opinions and preferences. I am amused at what they hear us say often, and what they can't repeat. Given my own habits, words they hear often include brands, such as Apple, Google and Diet Coke (all of which are heard very well).
This evening, I sat Matthew down to give him a little quiz. Here was the result! Note that I am also very pleased with the still from the video. Big grin from Matthew!
This video was taken to test the new HTC Evo phone, powered by Google Android. I'm using it all week instead of my iPhone and have it for free for 30 days, unlimited usage, until Sprint turns it into a brick. So far, I am very impressed.
As for the twins, they aren't going to be able to share a swing for much longer, as they continue to grow. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Another video, for your entertainment. From Thursday evening in our messy home. I am somewhat impressed by their aiming and throwing skills, despite some lack of accuracy.
One of Matthew and Sarah's favorite activities is twirling, especially if there's music on, and especially if I go first. Here they are (looped) from this evening. They'll go until dizzy. Enjoy the music as well.
Sometimes the truth hurts. Matthew and Sarah will see their Nana and Grandpa briefly tomorrow, but this video proves Matthew really only wants to see one of the family -- Laszlo!
